he Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Town) requires a contractor to prepare and pave HL3 PG 64-28 hot mix asphalt on surface-treated and asphalt roadways in various locations (work), as identified in APPENDIX B - SITE LOCATIONS (sites). This work shall repair various roadways within the Town with an asphalt patch in areas of intense degradation. The construction techniques shall differ between surface-treated and asphalt roadways. Shoulders abutting all sites shall be graded to six percent (6%) slope and granular sealant shall be applied at the discretion of the Town Representative.
A break in conducting the work shall be avoided at all times and shall be scheduled such that each site is completed within the same business day to avoid unnecessary joints and ramping. Work shall commence within one month following the award of contract and delivered in a continuous fashion.
