The Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Town) has identified the need to reconstruct approximately 1,400 metres of Irving Drive, from the intersection of Clovelly Cove on the east, to the cul-de-sac at Flying Bridge Marina in the west (See APPENDIX B – ROAD RECONSTRUCTION MAP) (site). Irving Drive has deteriorated and requires reconstruction to ensure the road is maintained in a state of good repair. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to retain Consulting Engineering services to provide an appropriately scheduled Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA), legal and topographical survey: geotechnical investigation:, detailed design, and Issued for Tender (IFT) package: support during the Tender and Contract award process; Excess Soils Management; Contract Administration, inspection, and materials testing during construction, for the total 1,400 metres of ROW (work). For the purpose of this RFP, respondents shall assume and account for a Schedule B Class EA. The respondent shall account for the required services to complete the full spectrum of the noted services. |
