Project Objective The Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Town) is seeking to retain a Consultant (Respondent) to provide an engineering study plan. The study shall address capital, operation and maintenance planning for the black river channel, the wharf and all their respective assets. Moreover, the study shall address but not limited to the following: 1. An immediate and long term plans for the wharf rehab and the black river channel dredging implementation, disposal and treatment to suit the public and the Town needs; 2. An immediate and long term economic benefit analysis for the entire Site 3. End user liabilities - Health, life and safety; 4. Associated potential parking issues; 5. Structural integrity of the wharf and related environmental impact; 6. Black River integrity including navigability, related control of sedimentation related environmental impact; 7. Wayfinding; 8. Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA); 9. All coordination and approvals from all involved jurisdictional authorities; and 10.All related acts, legislations, regulations and codes. |
