The Corporation of the Town of Georgina is seeking bid submission to complete the installation of new watermains to replace existing watermain infrastructure on The Queensway South from Joe Dales Drive to Garrett Styles Drive, within the Town of Georgina. The overall scope of work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 

• A new transmission watermain from Joe Dales Drive to immediately north of Garrett Styles Drive, within the westmost travelled lanes on The Queensway South, including three (3) new watermain valve chambers and associated appurtenances.
  • A new distribution watermain network from Joe Dales Drive to Miami Drive, within the westmost travelled lanes on The Queensway South and including the reconnection of local water services, fire hydrants and connections to the existing watermains on the side streets;
  • Testing and commissioning of the new watermains;
  • Decommissioning of the existing watermains and valve chambers on The Queensway South along this section. 
  • Restoration of all disturbed areas, including roadway granulars, asphalt, concrete curb, concrete sidewalk and boulevard areas, to existing condition or better.
