The Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Town) is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced vendors (respondent) to provide Project Management Services to plan and manage the delivery of identified capital projects within the Town’s 2020/2021 capital program (work).   

The award of contract for this Request for Proposal (RFP) is subject to Council approval of the 2021 capital budget and in the event that the 2021 capital budget for the proposed capital works is not approved, the Town reserves the right to cancel this contract without penalty.

The projects to be delivered by the successful respondent (consultant) under this assignment shall be limited to the projects identified in Table 1 - Proposed Capital Works below. Project delivery shall include but not be limited to the planning and coordination of the project, delivery strategy, and project administration including management of the design, tendering, construction, contract administration, inspection, commissioning and warranty stages.

The management of these projects shall follow project management fundamentals and the individual(s) proposed by the respondent should carry both a PMP and P.Eng designation with a minimum of six (6) years of experience delivering project management for projects of similar size, scope and complexity.

NOTE: Respondents who are successful in this assignment will not be able to bid on work indicated in Table 1 – Proposed Capital Works.

The Project Manager(s) shall report directly to the Manager of Asset Management and Technical Services (Town Representative) and will work closely with internal stakeholders including Operations and Infrastructure, Finance, Engineering and Procurement Services as well with external stakeholders and Council as required.
