This Request for Prequalification of GCs (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Owner) to prospective Proponents to qualify in accordance with the evaluation of prequalification submissions for the General Contracting Services for the Town’s Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC) Project. In preparation for an upcoming Request for Tender (RFT) for the Project, scheduled to be issued in Q4 2020, the Owner is conducting a prequalification process for General Contractors. Only Proponents prequalified through this prequalification process will be invited to participate in the upcoming Tender for the Project. The Owner intends to enter into a CCDC 2 Stipulated Lump Sum Contract, modified by Supplementary Conditions. The preferred Supplementary Conditions are attached and will be confirmed as the Supplementary Conditions at Tender stage. |
